| Most people go to Boreal to go snowboarding, but because i have irrational fears about falling and dying (i am serious here), i went SLEDDING. I should have been embarassed being surrounded by 5-10 year old kids with their parents, but I had so much fun I started to blend in. Well, except for being the only one screaming every time I went down a slope. Parents starting looking at me and asking "Was it scary?" and "Wow, it looked like you had a lot of fun". I wonder if they knew I was 21!?!
Before you start making fun of me, I have to mention that sledding is a very dangerous activitiy: I had to sign a waiver form. Waiver = high probability of accidents.

| since my last xanga entry was about nordstrom (for those of you who know me well, i absolutely love my nordy), i just want to say that i've finally been invited to A PRIVATE NORDSTROM SHOPPING EVENT!!! =)
i've been waiting for this invitation since summer 2004. and almost a year later with a collection of over 1500 points (and sadly, over 1500 dollars spent), i've finally received by invitation and ticket. i'm so excited!!! my ticket admits two so i'll be taking my polar bear, but i'm sure he's not that excited. SO . . . if anyone else out there loves nordstrom the way i do and HAS a car to drive us to valley fair on sunday may 1st at 7:30pm, then let me know. | | |
| NORSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE STARTS THIS FRIDAY!!!
this is my inspiration for the week. every hour that i endure in lecture/section, i know that i am one hour closer to this wonderful sale.
on saturday, i will be one freakin happy shopper sprinting through the many levels of nordstrom at the sf shopping center. and every dollar that i charge onto my nordstrom card will bring me 2 points (because of double rewards on July 16, 17, 18) closer to being invited to a private sale at the end of the season. that means i only need to spend $750!!! times like this, i wish i were still working.
but there's no time to earn money because i am taking two classes this summer. i'm going crazy because its 1 in the morning and i'm only half done with my financial accounting homework. but i can't focus anymore because i am distracted by what i term "pre-shopping preparation" in which i browse online websites and compile a list of things i plan to purchase. on this list are two columns: necessities and desires. so far, everything i desire is a necessity, but i may have to edit my list tomorrow since my bank account is already steadily decreasing as i write this entry.

it's not as good as the one at costco, but i'm satisfied.
tomorrow i will share.
craving over. i can get on with my life again (without thinking about flan every 3.563 seconds). | | |
